The amazing book tour for SEDUCING SENSEI is over. In case you missed any post, here are the highlights as well as the links to see the post in full:
Book Unleashed – Excerpt
The kid looked at me with those beautiful green eyes, effortlessly continuing his rope hopscotch. Those eyes weren’t those of a child’s, but of a man who’d seen a lifetime of evil and decided he was here to save everyone. It was heart shattering to look into his soul, and yet, Scott instilled hope in my heart. Like a survivor, he threw off an air that people could overcome the worst of times. As if he were living proof.
Love Bytes Reviews – Character Interview
[Mori Reis Interviewed by Aubrey Cooper, on why he didn’t go to the police and reported Itsuma after he attacked Mori in the class room]
Mori: *looks at Aubrey horrified* Well, that’s rather blunt. *He rubs his temples and sighs* Look, even if I went to the police, I would have been the party to blame. It doesn’t matter if his advances were rebuffed or encouraged, it would be me in jail. That would have taught Itsuma that he can do anything he pleases, including… partaking in his teacher even if said teacher didn’t want that. The next time he tried forcing a person, someone could have a gun. Then Itsuma might have learned a lesson—permanently. No, he needed someone to take the reins and guide him.
Making It Happen – Excerpt
Not buying it. His blasé faire attitude made me want to smack him. Was he just going to pretend everything was hunky-dory even though I’d annihilated his personal property? The school allowed confiscating electronic items. Destroying them—not so much.
Miss Betty’s Reviews – Review
Seducing Sensei marks my first read by talented S.N.Mckibben, and it definitely won’t be my last. This sweet but at times rough and raw story tugs at my heartstrings, and I find myself falling hard for these three beleaguered men…S.N. Mckibben writes a wickedly good tale about passion and devotion so powerful that everything else fades beside it.
She digs into the heart and mind of Mori, and she rips, pulls and yanks the story out of him.
Deal Sharing Aunt – Interview
[Most unforgettable scene in the book] It would be the scene that inspired the book trailer. It’s when Itsuma and Scott catch Mori after school. Why? It’s every hot for teacher students dream.
Author Sienna Matthews Blog – Guest Blog
There is nothing that crates unity than when a reader gets exactly why an author published a book. When the reader feels a story was written exactly for them, something magical happens. It’s that feeling you get when you know unequivocally, that you are not alone. That there is someone out there that thinks just as you do. There is a connection and you don’t even know the person on the other end. But because of the connection you gain a reason to try harder for your fellow man, to be considerate, and attempt to understand others.
Triple A Book Blog – Review
I really enjoyed this story despite not normally being a fan of teacher – student romances. But the teacher is 23 year old Moriel and the students are both eighteen, so this wasn’t an age/powerplay type thing. In fact, the three make an ideal triad as frequently he’s as vulnerable to Scott and Itsume as he’s dominant to them. The interactions between them all is intense, the lengths he goes to in order to protect Scott, face his past with Kai and be there for Zume alternated between amusing, heartbreaking, heartwarming and frustration. I love that the end both left it open for more while also tying it all together. It’s a hot steamy suspenseful and ultimately sweet love story.
Books,Dreams,Life – Excerpt
Giving him control worked. He relaxed completely, sliding down onto his back. Letting me work him through his anxiety. Of course I was prepared for him not to give the word to go further. Just getting him this far was a triumph in my mind.
The Reading Addict – Character Profile of Scott Cooper
Quiet. Shy. Loyal. Keeps to himself. His family has issues. His dad beats him. His mom tries to protect him and fails. He feels the need to protect his family from his father. His mom tried to leave once. That didn’t work. He found them and brought them home. His dad isn’t a bad person, just angry that his son and possibly youngest are gay.
The Romance Reviews – Review
A provocative story between a summer school teacher and two of his students but it’s also much more than that…Likes: the interactions between the three were entertaining, the sex scenes were steamy, and there was a bit (slight) of kink to ramp things up…
Full Moon Bites – Top Ten Yaoi Recommendation
There is something about the mentor/student bond that makes me fascinated with student/teacher relationships. If you don’t know anything about yaoi, I recommend you *don’t* look it up. Unless you have a fascination with Male/Male relationships. Then be my guest!
Word of warning. This is not a list of books that teachers or students should read. This is my top 10 hot for mentor anime that inspired “Seducing Sensei”.
The Reading Addict – Excerpt
Flashes of memory came rolling in. Six years of trying to forget him and what he did came rolling back like it was yesterday. Kai staring at me like he’d never seen blood in his whole life. The hospital. The nightmares. Watching him sling an arm around a girl, ignoring me as they passed. The pain of rejection when I needed answers and he wouldn’t return my calls.
Between the Coverz – Review
The story is unique, humorous and a whole lot on the naughty side. The story is a light read that is well written with a plot that moves a fast pace yet doesn’t feel fast.
but why here?
